We are very pleased to announce that our colleague Lito Vertzini, Operations Manager at Epsilon Hellas, has been elected to both the Executive Committee and the Recruitment & Training Committee of the International Maritime Employers’ Council (IMEC).
IMEC is a leading global association of maritime employers, promoting fair working conditions, ethical recruitment, and sustainable labour standards. The Executive Committee and the Recruitment & Training Committee play vital roles in advancing these goals across the shipping industry.
We are delighted that Lito has earned the trust of the international voting members and now has the opportunity to help shape key priorities such as inclusive hiring, seafarer welfare, and training for tomorrow’s workforce.
Her election reflects both her personal dedication and Epsilon’s continued commitment to responsible maritime leadership and industry-wide collaboration.
